The moon begins its waning cycle after the full moon in Scorpio on June 2nd.
Scorpio is the Moon’s debilitation sign and because the moon will also be conjunct retrograde Saturn at the time of the full moon, themes for the coming cycle invite certain pressures- which can intensify the emotional body effects we experience. This combination however will provide deep release, like a valve that needs to be opened, inviting in a sense of letting go and waves of grief to surface.
Ride the waves and allow the tides to move you. This emotional release is a healthy and necessary part of landing, grounding, and finding deeper support and nourishment right now. Don’t underestimate the power of letting go and emotional surrender. As the moon continues to wane, we may feel extra sensitive. Give your self to gentleness, allow for vulnerability, and create safe space for your fragility. Tend to your self care diligently right now and allow for extra rest, relaxation and rejuvenation.
Mercury goes direct on the 11th of June, and this vital time of mental body clean up begins to assist us with more forward motion. What steps did you re-trace and what messages arrived? What have you learned about expressing yourself more potently? What needs are clearer now in order to help you find deeper stability, support and nourishment? What is helping you share yourself in new ways?
Sun continues his tight conjunction with Mercury and Mars as these three planets transit through Taurus together. Heat and pressure ignite themes around support, stability and self expression, all in the name of finding deeper nourishment. Manifestation of our desires on the material plane of existence, come to the surface. Will we make it or break it?
Sun and Mars have an especially tight conjunction towards the latter half of this waning cycle, culminating in exact conjunction of degrees on the 13th. Though these two planets are friendly to each other, the heat may be unbearable at times.
Be mindful of your words and don’t become a fire breathing dragon! With Rahu and Saturn’s gaze upon this fiery duo and their conjunction with Mercury as well, we may feel heated mentally. Prevent overwhelm, getting overheated, burned out, and exhausted. Use ample self care to help with this.
Just before the new moon, Mars and Sun chase each other into Gemini, sparking a new heat wave of creativity, communication and connectivity. Sun makes the leap first on June 15th, with Mars following close behind a few hours later. A certain dynamism is sure to follow, which leads us directly into the coming waxing cycle. This will be a time of many new insights, ideas and a very strong imagination. Success will be determined by how well this creative energy is put to good use.
Being selective about which ideas get your action steps will be crucial. Every idea is great, but not every idea needs to be acted upon.
New Moon is Tuesday, June 16th at 09:06 CDT while in Gemini and Mrigashirsha Nakshatra.
*Horoscopes are based on your Vedic (sidereal) rising sign. You can also check your Moon and Sun signs for further insight. Do the same with your Navamsa signs for further clarity. Do not use these horoscopes with your Western sign (Tropical) as there is likely no correlation. These horoscopes are meant to be used as a broad overview of the current transits and obviously do not address the specifics of an individual’s unique chart.
Aries: Continue to dance with themes of wants vs. needs. Your heart longs to knit these two together, to integrate and let go of fears. Feed yourself well, be nourished and express with poignancy. You may feel unclear about what you really need at this time. This is the root of your emotions- the anger and frustrations. Getting clear on what your emotions are really telling you is essential for getting your needs met in more lasting and sustainable ways. The past can support the present. Your emotions are the messenger. Listen carefully.
Taurus: With great feeling can come great action and the ability to powerfully manifest. What feelings are moving through you right now? What challenges are emerging and how can these obstacles be used as a resource for change and transformation? Take your emotions into movement and art. Transform them alchemically and let them take on a new form. What can you harvest with this process? Your anger and frustration hold great power. It’s your job to channel this effectively, rather than let it hold you back.
Gemini: So much creativity is available to you right now but it’s your introspection that is allowing this flow. Meditation, relaxation and taking multiple pauses will allow for deeper awareness, increased creativity and necessary preparation before the coming outward cycle hits. Frustrations are a reminder to slow down, listen, allow. Changes are a reminder to be open to new directions and possibilities. Surrender and allow. Let relationships be a resource for greater nourishment and support.
Cancer: Feelings are a powerful resource for you right now. What are they trying to tell you about your need for nourishment and support? Sustainable expansion is only possible when we feel safe and supported. What do you need in order to create more of this in your life and in your body? What can help you receive what is available right now? Allow change be a resource for getting your needs met in new ways. Change can do you good. Surrender and open to possibilities. The holding and grounding is alive all around you. Can you feel it?
Leo: Rest, restore and pause. Take time for deep nourishment and listening to your emotional body, your feeling wisdom. What does it need? What does it tell you about your expansion process, change and transformation? There is a lot of power and charge within you which can help you make change right now. But don’t act just for the sake of action. Make sure your steps are aligned, embodied and are coming from a place of deep knowing. This will help you trust your steps and trust your landing.
Virgo: Put your focus on teaching and gaining more wisdom. Ample passion and power are available for you and your dharma right now. What is working and what isn’t? What feels helpful and resourceful and what is challenging and impeding your momentum? Take the obstructions into creative acts. Paint, dance, move, explore, transform. Trust in your dynamism, your actions and your forward momentum. Trust in creativity and your ability to make change. Trust your choices.
Libra: Are you speaking the truth or just the past? What stories connected to your personal mythology have you on auto pilot? How are these old stories keeping you for getting the support and nourishment you need and want so badly? Catch yourself in the act! Notice when the mind starts to go into the past and re-visit memories, stories and illusions. These stories are gripping you, keeping you from your greatness. How can you use them as a way to transform yourself and make lasting change?
Scorpio: Move, change, grow. Find new ways to be held, supported and deepen your trust in life. As you move and transform, notice your responses. Are you resisting the nourishment and support coming to you? Are you receptive to the many forms it arrives in? Awaken new feelings of home within you and trust your landing. You are much stronger than you think you are. Allow yourself to make necessary changes that deeply nourish you and let spirit offer guidance. Remember challenges are opportunities. Get your needs met in new ways.
Sagittarius: Intense feelings are available to you right now. What are they sharing with you about finding deeper nourishment and comfort in your relationships? This is a time of powerful integration, digestion and assimilation of life’s nourishment. It’s here, available and ready to be received. Are you allowing it in and saying yes? Part of you is not able to accept and hold the food of life. What is the resistance and how is it keeping you from feeling connected to yourself and others?
Capricorn: Feelings are alive and well within you and helping you connect more deeply to others. Your pelvis is the entry point for feeling life. Manifestation is a result of feeling, not thinking. What is feeling nourishing and supportive right now? In your body, in your life and in your relationships? Cultivate more presence with this feeling of deep nourishment and use it as a resource for creating more of it. There is great power available to you in the emotional body right now. Feel, sense, imagine, create. Repeat.
Aquarius: Feelings and emotions are powerful resources for you right now. How are you using them to inform your actions and choices? What can your emotions share with you about your needs and longings for connection and creation? Notice where you may be disconnecting, dissociating with your emotional body because it’s to painful, challenging or overwhelming to feel. How can you take smaller steps and have gentle acceptance without closing doors or putting up walls? Keep your eyes open and be willing to listen to your heart wisdom.
Pisces: Powerful feelings and emotions are alive within you. Are you surfing the waves or drowning in the overwhelm? These emotions are directly connected to your sense of power and empowerment. You can let them disconnect you from your core, or let them inform a deeper connection with your center. Use your feelings of anger, frustration, confusion and depression to get more potent answers. Let these emotions inform your creativity and your process of creation and connection. Move, paint, dance, sing them through you. Move with them and move them, don’t be destroyed by them.
